Physicists have long held the opinion that nothing exists indefinitely. This, however, contradicts facts because each particle, from photons to galaxies and even larger formations, must constantly be on the move to sustain its survival.
There are first-order and second-order perpetual motions. The perpetual motion of the first order is described as any motion that, once started, keeps its mobility without the need for further energy. Another kind is explained as motion that obtains its energy from a source at a lower temperature than the machine’s temperature that carries perpetual motion.
So many people would prefer a machine, such as a car, that could run indefinitely without batteries or fuel. The concept of perpetual motion is based on this principle. Any kind of motion that can be sustained without external energy is referred to as perpetual motion. Many scientists are working to create the ideal perpetual motion unit.
