Apple started a revolution with the official announcement and launching of iPhone in the year of 2007 and the launching of iOS (known as iPhone OS back then) in the very next year. Since then, Apple announces the new major iOS versions in their yearly Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC). As mentioned, iOS was previously known as iPhone OS and with the iOS 4, it was renamed as iOS in 2010. The most stable version of iOS as of now is iOS 12.3.2 and the most stable beta version is iOS 12.4 Beta 4 with the iOS 13 has already been announced on 3rd June 2019. Two of the iOS versions until now have not been published. They are iPhone OS 1.2 and iOS 4.2. and one version of it was pulled back due to cellular service and touch id issues in iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 plus. It was the iOS version 8.0.1.
